Has anyone found a way to loosen up the focus knob on the X-Sight II? That sucker is stiff.

Yep - case of beer, tv - and work it hard for a while - it does loosen up.
There was also someone who posted something about a couple of drops of oil applied while holding the scope upside down - would be very careful about how much I applied though - maybe do that before starting on the beer.

Odin the x-sight gen ii 5-20 has a small focus knob on top rather than the ring around the body and man is it stiff, I sent mine back thinking it was faulty but apparently is how it's meant to be and it's awful, I can't keep mine on target while adjusting it.
Would be keen on any advice to free it up.
