You would think the engineer would of put more thought into the front lens cap! If you fumble with it in the dark while trying to perform a NUC procedure be careful the lens cap can easily flip edge wise toward the lens & in that position it will easily touch & scratch the lens Especially after repeated NUCing

Cabellas has a black plastic flip up lens cap from Butler Creek stock # 51525 21011 size 38.5~39.4 mm / size 10 to 11 costs 8.99
It looks nice and the bright yellow trigger is really easy to use in any light best of all your expensive lens is 100 % protected
