Love my Binox HD but there is one problem that annoys me. The screen seems to have 'flickering waves' all the time but I don't have that issue with my X Sight 2 I've tried adjusting illuminator intensity settings and light sensitivity settings. Whilst there is some improvement depending on the combination of these two settings the 'flickering waves' remain.
Do others have the same issue with the Binox HD?
I have come up with a work around which at least stops this annoyance, I turn off the Binox IR illuminator completely and use a separate 850nm illuminator velcroed to the bottom of the Binox and 'presto' a perfectly clear/steady picture, it also helps battery life in the Binox as well.
I have 2 different IR illuminators and both work perfectly on the Binox with no flickering so its something to do with the inbuilt illuminator or software controlling it.
If this issue can be fixed by ATN my Binox would be soooooo much better!!!!!!!!! Does anyone else have ideas on this one??

I know it's been years since your post but I just got a Binox HD and have the same issue. Did you ever get it fixed?
Another issue/question I have is the firmware. The version number installed on the device is higher than the latest available from the ATN website! Wonder if I should update it, or leave it. Any suggestions?
