I have a teething problem.

My X-sight 2, under the "About app tab" shows up as an ATN BinoX on my Apple S4 IOS Osidian app.
I have the latest version of the obsidian app on the phone as well as the latest version of Xsight 2 firmware on the scope at date of writing.
This denies me the ability to make use of all the XS 2 functions ( for those that work). I certainly can not enter balistic data or even choose the device I currently have on the app.

Since I have the scope at first I could not even pair the two devices with each other. After the latest firmware upgrade, the two devices at least communicate, but the XS 2 as a different ATN device.

Any one with the same issues, or a solution to the current problem?

There is a new version of the app out for Apple IOS, works perfectly on my units and I can swap and change between BinoX and X-Sight2

I would give that a try.
It sounds like your cache in the phone is messing up for some reason and holding outdated info

nighthog: The ATN X-Sight 4k Pro is junk. If you have one, you have issues. Period. Software updates sometimes work for awhile, but can also make things worse - or fix some things while creating other issues. There is no solution to these issues. Junk Jun 5, 2024 14:04:20 GMT -8
