I'm hoping to get an external power supply to run an x sight II and was wondering if anyone has ordered the ATN version. What does the pack contain is there a mains charger and does anyone know what make the battery is?
Does anyone know if the rubber plug will be available for purchase as a separate item?

I ordered the battery kit today since I can't buy just the rubber plug from ATN.
I've been using a 4,400 mAh battery and can't seem to kill it! The ATN pack includes a 6,600 mAh battery.

I have purchased my ATN external power pack within the last 30 days and it included: (1) a strap-on pouch for holding the battery on the stock, (2) a coiled USB to Micro USB cable to carry power to the scope, (3) a rubber port cover to protect the other connectors in the micro-USB port area (4) a 16000 mAh@ 3.6V / 10000 mAh@ 5.1V battery produced/marketed by MI (a Chinese company). No charger was included...a smart phone or tablet charger can be used or it can be charged through the USB port on your computer using the enclosed power cable. The external pack lasts a LONG time on a charge.

I maintain that the rubber plug should be part of the scope. Especially as ATN say that usb is the preferred method to supply power to their unit. Am pretty sure that they are just been niggardly in not supplying a 5c piece of molded silicone with the unit.

I have a question that i hope someone can answer. I have a 20000mah battery pack laying around the house that i would like to use with my scope, the question is, is that it has two different outputs 1amp and 2.4amps. Which one do i use, can i mess the scope up if i use the wrong one?

Use the 2.4amp output to supply the load the scope will need to operate.

Bob is right on the money. Use 2.4 amps - scope will draw what it needs depending on what you have activated. 1A may leave you short on available draw if you have all the bells and whistles on, this will make it glitch and freeze.

I've never seen it pull over 1/2 amp, but it doesn't hurt to plug into a higher current port.

Does anyone make a pic rail holder for the battery pack? Or am I stuck with zip ties. The cheek piece that comes with it will not fit my stock.
