I tried to show my scope to a friend this morning as we left for a hunt. The XSight won't turn on!! New batteries, with or without the external battery. Any ideas?!?

When was the last time that this scope was functional. What all have you tried to do ? Also can you take the battery cap off and smell inside and tell me what odor you smell?
Thanks

multiple sets of new batteries, pushing power button 1 second to 10 seconds.
called ATN, returning it Monday.
when I was doing all of this I smelled a musty smell like when I walk into a pwb fab shop. didn't think about it at the time... I'm a EE so I know that smell. was thinking it was just a plastic smell, but maybe it's something fried.

Ok, glad they got it sorted for you. Sounds like the protection diode.
