Does anybody know the outer diameter of the lens on the ATN X-Sight II 3-14? I would like to order a lens cap for it.

I used the sun shade and had a Butler Creek cap . It's fits tightly to the inside of the sun shade. I don't know the size,it's from a scope I had laying around. Attachments:

I used the sun shade and had a Butler Creek cap . It's fits tightly to the inside of the sun shade. I don't know the size,it's from a scope I had laying around. The size on a Butler Creek cap is usually embossed on the inside of the flip cap. Sometimes hard to see. Larger ones usually do not correspond with any mm or inch measurements though. Just a model number. I have a Butler Creek 53A that fits the 68mm O.D. of my XSII HD 5~20x. So the number doesn't signify squat. Since I can't seem to find a 65mm threaded killflash, (threaded I.D. of the scope housing), I Laser cut a piece of Killflash honeycomb to 67mm diameter to fit/pinch inside between the housing and the cover. That way I can still close the cover and keep crap off the objective lens until I need it. Killflash is always installed. Absolutely zero interference with the scope fit or function. Shoot Straight

interesting approach. Well, how are you now? did not affect accuracy? The Kill Flash? The scope doesn't even see it. In or out, the accuracy is the same. Sight picture is the same. Only reduces the reflection off the lens. With the sunshade installed, (I leave it on all the time,) pretty hard to get a reflection anyway. Choose Wisely Shoot Straight
