I purchased an X-Sight 4K pro which arrived Sunday along with an ABL 1000. After plugging it in and charging it for 4 or so hours, I tried to turn it on while the charge continued. Nothing turned on. I could hear the click when doing a force-shutdown by holding the power button for 15 or 20 seconds. And another click when I press the button after that to turn it back on. Figuring I needed to get a better first charge, I left it charge over night.
It did turn on in the morning, and I was able to play with it a little and paired it with the ABL 1000.
Then came back a few hours later and the screen won't turn on again.
I should have written the firmware version down when it was working and I was in the settings but of course I didn't do that. From memory when I looked at it in settings I think it was the 510 version listed as the current version on the website right now. But I can't get back into it to say for sure.
Feeling a little crabby right now.

As a followup, I found an ATN utility to upload firmware via USB on their website which seemed to downgrade the firmware it to an earlier version. Everything seems to work as far as the update goes but still no luck with the screen coming back on.

I'll keep my monologue going as I continue to troubleshoot. Hopefully it helps someone else.
I'm starting to suspect that there are some capacitors that are taking a while to discharge and the unit won't work again until they do. This morning it was working again. I powered it off, then back on, and it cycled fine. Then, after leaving it on for several minutes, powering down and powering back on, the screen was blank. After experimentation, it seems like the scope needs up to 3-5 minutes of being powered down before if it has been on for more than a minute or two. This is on firmware version 3.1.11.483. I'm going to re-upgrade to version 3.1.12.510 and see if that's any different next.

Alright, redid my tests using the 3.1.12.510 and it seems like the scope needs to be powered off for at least 3 and more often 5 minutes before it can be powered back on. Curious if this is a defect in my scope or if others are seeing this behavior.

Well, I got excited too fast. Now the screen won't turn on anymore again after sitting for a long time. I have tried calling into their support team twice in the past two days an get voicemail but no return calls. Same with the online support request. Guess I'll send it back.
