So I got my sight out today on my new Scar17..
The sight seemed to work "ok".. I cannot seem to get it focused on the target, I can see the target but not well. For instance I was shooting at 8" targets (see below pics) at 100 yards, The best I could see was an 8" circle. I could not make out the rings or even the orange bullseye, not sur how useful a scope that cant even see that is going to be!
I used the one shot zero, not being able to see the bullet holes made this a guessing game at best.. after 3 "one shot zero's" it was pretty much on. I have the butler creek flip up cover with a 7/16 hole in it. I closed that hole down a little with some target dots
Which did seem to help a little, might have to play with smaller holes.
Any one here have any insight how to get a clear sight oicture out of this thing?? Something I'm missing somewhere? (I sure hope so!!)
Target pics.. 3 different ammos..
Basically the same grouping with differing POI's... but then again without a clear sight picture how good could they ever get?

Once you adjust the eyepiece focus You start adjusting the objective focus now this focus is very senitive (at least on mine) a slight movement will take it in or out but butler creek hole trick helped tons with these I think we will be get better crosshairs with next update

one thing that may not have been considered is that if the hole is not perfectly center , you may actually get like a parralax effect and get a different point of impact vs point of aim... I have an ATN mars 4 3p and it has a daytime cover ... if you sight in in the day .. then shoot at night it's off .. once it was way off .. the cap was not perfectly seated ..
in the end I just sighted in at night and it's spot on ... i suspect the x-sight may have the same symptoms .. while you get better looking day video it may be changing poi some ..
please test with and without the hole cover and verify for yourself and post results
