I Tried to update firmware on my X SIGHT 2 to a previous version to get round the minimum 27 yard distance entry problem but the update got interrupted and now buttons don't work. Any ideas on a fix for this as ATN won't even look at it for me. All I can get out of them is that they do not have spare parts for this unit as it is now discontinued. Any suggestions gratefully received. I must have re started it 50 times or more to try and get it to reload the firmware but it just seems to ignore the fact that the file is on the card.

Only thing I can think of, is to do some more research on firmware upgrades. I recall something about the file having to be renamed, in order for the unit to pick it up.

I have tried re naming the file but still does not work. As far as I can find out all it needs is the firmware re flashing onto it but ATN do not seem interested in helping unfortunately. I have offered to pay to get this done but still no joy. I currently own a £300 paper weight.

All you have to do is change the last three letters of the file name to a higher number.
If it is 101 now, change to 102. If you tried opening the file on your computer, start fresh with a new download and don't do anything but right click on the file and rename it.

I have exactly the same problem since I updated my scope and am getting exactly the same response from ATN, which I think is deplorable as it is recommended that you update to the latest firmware then when you do and get a malfunction they don’t want to know. I am trying to obtain version 2.1.07.767.en if anyone can help please.
