Just mounted the LTV. Also have a Thor 4 so I am somewhat familiar with the software. It appears that the LTV can only be zeroed at the base 3x magnification. Is that the case? The manual says one click at base magnification equals one pixel. It would be nice if it equaled a MOA or something useful. I have no idea how far 1 pixel is at 100 yards. Given that one can not magnify does that mean zeroing is pretty much a guessing game?
I like the small compact size and simple software. Not happy with the picture quality as another thread stated the traget gets washed out if you use low contrast traget paper.

Hi I noticed it automatically zoomed out when you clicked into zeroing mode. I ended up having a colleague down range and shot on zoomed in and then went back over to zeroing mode to dial in a bit and then shoot again back on zoomed in mode. It’s a bit of a ball ache but it worked well. Hopefully it will be included in a software update to stay in zoom when zeroing. Andy

Well, that is kind of what I did. It can be done but is far from precision. To me this is the biggest negative now and I also own a x sight and a thermal.

I am also dissepointed +++ that it is unpossible to zero with 9× manification, not possible to do "one shoot zero" with the LTV as it is. After my zeroing today i will calculate around mm/cm betwen X/Y, that will help alot to know how mutch poi change from ex X90 to X95.

The above link doesn't work wkfolds...... I too have this issue with the LTV only allowing the one shot zero at the lowest mag - a real pain!

This does work (though maybe it’s a newer firmware). Once you enter the zero mode, the direction buttons move the reticle position. However, if you press and hold the middle button for 1 second, it will switch to zoom mode (from position mode). You can then zoom in or out with the forward / back buttons). Once you reach the zoom you want, press and hold the middle button again to return to position mode and move the reticle to your shot placement.
