I have the above scope and recently was unable to turn it on. I re-flashed the scope and made sure the firmware was current. The scope turned on and everything appeared normal but now my image quality is grainy even at base magnification and after NUCing. I'd like to avoid sending it in so I thought I'd try here before reaching out to ATN.
Any ideas?

Maybe check in setting's that the right device type is chosen. Other than that I do not know.

there is someone on youtube that did a couple of extra steps when flashing his ATN...it worked and I can't remember the guys name. First he flashed using the ATN FACTORY RESTORE FIRMWARE
(only for obsidian 4 device series).....this firmware is located all the way down at the bottom of the support page. After that was completed, he then flashed with the SMART HD FIRMWARE UPDATE(this firmware ends in .510). Worth a try. Let us know.

make sure to take the micro SD card out when doing the flash, just in case that has something to do with it
