Trying to get my new x sight HD working with an external power pack
I have a few but none will power on the sight.
Pack outputs are 5v 1a 5v 2a 5v 2.4a 5.5v 2a USB-c 5c 2a USB-c 5v 3a Plus a number of different leads. 1a and 2a rated.
None work. I did send scope bk to shop and they tested it and said it was fine. But just been informed they only tried it via mains power. Not external pack.
So wondered if anyone one else had issues.

I'm wondering if ATN uses a proprietary wiring pattern on their type C connector. I have encountered such several times over they years by manufacturers who wire their devices in a non standard way, to try to force people into using their overpriced accessories, rather than off the shelf equivalent types of devices.
Have you tried the ATN OEM USB cable with your other battery packs, or just used standard ones?
I don't have a 'breakout board' for Type C, so I can't safely test the OEM cable to see if it is wired differently than standard.
But I can confirm that my LTV does work with MY external 5V powerpacks using the ATN OEM USB cable. I'm afraid to plug in a standard Type C cable, in case they ARE wired in a proprietary way. I don't want to short anything out inside the scope.
