I have the X Sight 2 and am considering getting the ABL for it. Was just wondering when you activate the rangefinder does it just range when you push it once or can it be used to range a constant moving target like a coyote without having to keep hitting the button

You push once, then it ranges continuously for 5 seconds. If you want it to stop ranging (if you have a good distance fix), then press once again during those 5 seconds.
The reticle target solution (holdover point, where the bullet will strike at the ranged distance) is not shown during ranging, during that time you get a sort of arrowed bracket box where the laser is shining, so you put the target in that box. When the ranging is finished (so either after 5 seconds, or when you press the ranging button again) Then the reticle comes back into view with the correct holdover point (or when using one of the older (non mildot) reticles the reticle itself will be displayed on the correct target range position.
