ATN 4K PRO 5X20 NOT TURN ON AFTER UPDATING FIRMWARE .436

HI ,
     I have updated latest firmware .436 and done factory reset . every thing works great for couple of hours. on that same day after several hours. i could not able to power on my scope. i can hear a click sound while holding  the power button 15 to 20 seconds. but no screen lighting.
     i also tried .436 bug fixing firmware update. 
     again and again same happened. 
     once i power off the scope . it could not able to restart.  Please guys help me to sort out the issue.

The first thing to remember about the ATN products are they are not optical scopes in the traditional sense, they are a mini computer driven video camera system. All updates such as a firmware update have to be performed by the specific instructions, step by step. It sounds as though you did that by the factory reset and identifying the lens type. My suggestion would be to format your SD card in the scope, place a fresh copy of the firmware on the SD card and try to update the firmware in the scope again since you have performed the bug fix already. i tried as you said . but the scope could not able to power on. we have to load firmware through usb everytime once the scope shut down.

is there any method to flash or clear the scope memory .

hello 436 seems the same f.w. as 451.i have nothing but problems with 451.same as yourself scope works then power off day after blackscreen.however i have noticed 451 f.w.uses alot battery powerbut my battery was not flat.also the battery icon never reaches full after hours of charge using 2.1amp charger. sounds at like you did everything correct but its the f.w.thats the problem.iam going bck to f.w.386.until the bugs on 436 or 451 are fixed.hope that helps regards dave

did you load the elf program and then update f.w.as suggested for black screen and non responsive keys freezing issues etc.side load everytime i don't use any sd cards in my scope.
