Scope out of the box worked fine. Did newest update via usb cable to windows PC. Worked for a few hours with no problems. Was able to sight in, pair abl and fire about 8 shots. Turned off and restarted this am to use... white screen only, no menu, inoperative buttons. Hold power about 30 seconds, it turns off, power back on, same problem. Any suggestions???

Ronnie, go to the ATN website and find the instructions (support pages)to reload the firmware. The latest firmware released was version is .436, and that one seems to be causing issues with some scopes. Go to the bottom of the page and there are instructions to use the USB cable from your computer to the scope to reload the factory firmware. This reload was for the version prior to .436. If the firmware reloads and cures the problem, wait until the next version is released as it should fix the .436 bugs.

Thanks for the reply. I have done the atn factory restore firmware download to pc however the only available update it shows is 3.1.08.436 with no other option to select a different version. I have tried several times to do it regardless when it gets to the reboot device, the scope doesn't reboot on its own. I have also tried the bug fix to micro sd card in the device, however it doesn't seem to either recognize the card or not sure because the screen is still in night mode without a menu. My original comments of screen being white should say the screen comes on but is in night mode and still has night vision capability but can't do anything because buttons are inop and menu isn't there. Any ideas what I may be doing wrong or what to do next?

Know where I can get the original .bin file it had on it when it shipped.... 3.1.06.386? Or would that even work?

Mine did the same thing 2 times , one time I held the power button down for 2 minutes the next time holding down did not work so I put it in the corner and let the battery drain for 20 hours , when I hooked up the charger it came back up and I installed the bug fix and no problems since .

Thank you to everyone for the tech help. What I have done since.... I downloaded the elf file thx to Odino. Tried to install it using the ATN Osisian 4 on pc logged into expert mode, changed to file on desktop (hopefully that is okay) and went through prompts. File loaded so it seemed, got all the way through to device to restart after holding down power button for 15 seconds. Scope didn't power on so I pressed power button again and it came on but same problem. Tried twice but same results.
So now I left scope run down battery.
Question I have.... do I charge a little before trying bug fix .bin file or do I put sd card in with bug fix .bin file then try to charge?
Thx in advance

Update..... I should have read the link that Dino posted (www.facebook.com/groups/ATNXSightUsers/permalink/2600271353427897/?app=fbl)
I installed the elf file they provided... scope came back however still didn't have full functioning buttons mainly the okay button wouldn't work...did a hard reset...then loaded the original .bin file .386 that the scope shipped with and bam. It's back.
So do I try and load the bugfix.bin with sd then the update .436? Or leave it alone? Not sure
Please advise, thanks

I would leave it as is. I still have that version on mine, I will wait a while longer before I update. When I first got my scope I would update as soon as a new version was published. The second update caused more issues than it cured. Now I wait a while before updating.

Will do. Thanks. And thanks everyone for the help. Really appreciated. This is actually the 2nd go around with this. I had another 4k pro that was stolen last weekend at the deer lease. It had it's freezing issues but the update fixed it and had no issues after. I bought this one last Monday and decided to update and that didn't go well. However, thanks to google searching and finding this place, ya'll saved me without having to call customer service.
Thanks again.

Had the same issue with a new scope last week - updated firmware and then the scope bricked. Sent it back and replacement arrived today but I won’t upgrade until I know that latest version is rock solid
