Very nearly convinced the x sight 2 is worth the money. One question I have. Once the scope is zeroed at say 100 yards for my 17 hmr, is the scope useable like a conventional scope using mildots for longer shots or is it important to use the range finder and ballistic calculator to make sure you get on target. Will be used on 17 hmr for rabbits and 243 for bigger targets Thanks in advance

No biggy. Depends on the reticle you decide on. With some it’s possible but you will have to shoot those to see where the drops are.
