Ok so I’ve got the firmware on my sd card but when I put it in the scope it’s supposed to ask me to install firmware yes/no. It does not....So I go into the settings and find “import sd card” and it says nothing is on the sd card. I’ve cleared the card and reformatted several times. Still nothing. The card is a brand new sandisk 16G. Please help

Format the card with your computer. Do a full format and download the update file. Download a clean copy of the file and do not attempt to open it, just copy it to the card. Load the card in the scope, power up the scope and see if will update.

Also check the firmware version in the scope to the version you are trying to upload. If they are the same you already have latest firmware.

I tried that Jim. Nota. I’m wondering if I have a class 10 sd card. It’s a sandisk 16G. Maybe a bad card? Idk But it’s showing that it’s downloading on the card but the scope Never ask’s if I want to update current firmware. I have the power off when I put the card in the scope as well. The firmware number in the scope is not the same as on the computer. Thanks for your replies. I’m still open for suggestions if anyone has any. Probably just the loose nut behind wheel 😁

Go into your settings and under firmware look to see what version is installed on scope - see if you have numbers matching on the download file, if so this is the reason for it not starting auto download.
Other option is that there has already been a failed attempt at loading that firmware.
You could try and change the file by 1 number on the SD card and attempt again.
Also does the file you are trying to upload end in .bin?

Ok. Odin I did look at the firmware number in the scope and it is different than the number of the current firmware available. Do I try to change the firmware number by one digit in the scope or On my pc? I’ll also check to see if it ends in bin

Copy it onto the card and rename it on the card. keep the original as is on the PC.

Found out the reason for not asking to download firmware in the scope is because the scope already has the latest version. Thanks again everyone.
