Hi guys
Recently bought a new mars 1-10 question is should it zoom from 1-10 without selecting extended zoom?
Mine only zooms to 5 on standard.
I'm trying to determine if I've been sold a 1-5 by mistake.
It also doesn't have the q/d mount as shown in the picture on the box but rather the mount with the nuts that comes on the 1-5

Maybe send an email to customer service with the serial # - they should be able to tell you for sure.
Sounds like though, that units may have been put back into wrong boxes in the shop after a demo.
Someone else may have got very lucky.

I get 3 options in settings
1. None
2. 1-10 640
3. 1.5 -15 640
Past 5x zoom the image pixelates really bad

Have you set it at 2/ 1-10 640 option in the settings?

Have you set it at 2/ 1-10 640 option in the settings? Yes that what I've selected. It works on 1.5 - 15 also and the setting "none"  |

Contact them, see what they say and maybe ask for them to replace it with another unit. If you have the 1-10x it should come with a QD mount.

I've been told the UK units came with the basic mount. I don't believe this is the case. I've been on to atn and they've asked for a picture of the lens to help confirm it's the correct spec. |

Is the units serial # on any of the paperwork in the box? If so and the numbers do not match with the unit it is a clear case of a unit been put back into the wrong box after a demo in the shop. Will be interesting to see what ATN say the serial # on the unit you have actually relates to.

I've been told by atn that it is a 1-10. They don't understand what it has the basic mount though
