I have an XSight II that will not power on. It has only been mounted on a Ruger American Predator 6.5 and shot less than 20 rounds. It was working one night dialing in the cartridge parameters then shut off, removed the batteries and 3 days later at the range it would not power on. Changed the batteries with a new pack of lithiums and nothing. Wired up the external power pack and nothing. Does anyone have any ideas? Does not smell like it fried.

Try taking out the internals and power up on the external alone. Mine will not power up if internals are present. Let us know how you go.

I took out my internals and it powered up just fine on the external pack.
I did notice that I lose my clock. I put my batteries back in. I have having the wrong date and time.
