With the number of complaints outweighing the compliments on this forum(In My Opinion), Wouldn't you think this would be the perfect customer feedback? The areas of concern voiced on this forum should become the areas of review for the R&D/Engineering departments.
I have sent two E-Mails to ATN in the past two weeks without receiving any response. Either the E-Mail count is so high or the company has my money and we'll get back later. The response on the phone with CS lacks a little enthusiasm.

Mr. Jones, with all due respect, that is not an answer to the question. ATN is promoting this forum, but from what have seen, the short time I have been here is that the problems, questions, and suggestions have been spaced out over as much as two years. I have ask Odin a question and received an answer, but so far as I have read many questions have been posted for quite some time without any answers and in many cases no reviews.
The question I have to pose to you as an administrator is how long will these unanswered questions be allowed to stay and clutter the forum or will they be answered.
The ATN products are not cheap playthings I have owned three units with varying degrees of performance, but without question, this forum is lacking. The ATN product line is in need of some one on one and I thought this forum would supply that warm fuzzy feeling we apparently need.
I will ask you "Do you have a direct line to the folks ATN?" If you do have a line I would strongly advise ATN to post someone to monitor this forum, many problems can be taken care of if the "Company" gives an answer.
Can/will you give me some feed back?
Larry

Greetings Jason Jones.
It was my understanding that this forum was in no way associated with ATN, and that it was a collection of ATN product owners discussing their experiences with the ATN products. Is this still accurate? Thank you very much.

Thanks for your reply. It would seem from some of the posts I have read that a number of members believe this forum is associated with ATN. Is there a possibility that this information could be placed somewhere that all new members would read it when they join the forum? I believe that would help to clear up any misunderstandings regarding the purpose and scope of the forum. Thank you very much. Doug

DarkStar, let me throw out something as far as ATN is concerned, First, my connection with ATN is simply as a customer. I found out about this forum from ATN's website, therefore I saw a connection with this site (forum). I think a disclaimer is in order to prevent any misunderstanding between customers and the forum.
Customer Service at ATN has, at best, been lackluster. The forum, to me, represents grassroots knowledge from the people that use/try to use the ATN products. I can appreciate the work that is done by site administrators, but on the other hand the site lives or dies by the posts and answers.
I look forward to improvements in the site and will offer any help I may bring to the table.

Silvergoose: A permanent explanation / disclaimer, placed in a prominent location, is what I am suggesting to Jason Jones. I seem to remember some discussion very early in my experience with this forum as regards the non-association with ATN. The only reference I found on the ATN site was for their Facebook page. If they have added a link to this forum on their site, I have not seen it as of yet. I believe I found this site during a Google search. My limited experience with ATN customer service, via phone conversations, has been positive. However, my experience with the product, the X-SightII, has been less than stellar. If I had found and studied this site prior to purchase, I most likely would not have bought the device. Alas, we live and learn ... hopefully. Thank you very much for your input. Take care. Doug

Thanks for your reply DarkStar. The FaceBook reference came from Mr. Jones.
