I got out Saturday to zero my new scope. Yesterday when reviewing a test video I noted that on the video the reticle appears at the uncorrected point of aim. That is, initially the scope was shooting low and to the right about 8 inches. After adjustment it is shooting exactly where the reticle is pointing. But in the video the reticle appears about 8 inches low and to the right of the point of impact. If I go out and shoot a hog, it's going to look like I totally missed but the hog magically dropped dead anyway. Has anyone else noticed this issue?

Yes, I've noticed the same thing. And when I viewed some of the videos I recorded, the reticle does not show at all I've boxed my 4K pro back up in it's box, and got a RMA number/slip from Optics Planet. I've been hoping for an update firmware, before I get it to the post office, but I dunno? So sad. I might just bite the bullet, and keep the damned thing. Such a hassle returning stuff, waiting for credit, etc. etc.

I'd much rather have no reticle in the video than a misplaced reticle. But thanks for the confirmation that I'm not the only one.
As for returning my scope, I'm going to hold onto it a bit longer. I have yet to be able to try several of the features that I'll use extensively while hunting. Primarily that's the night vision and range finding capabilities. I got it out briefly and the night vision seemed to be excellent, but it was only for a few minutes so I want to check it out more thoroughly. Then there is the range finding capability. I want to check out the built in rangefinder. But more than that, I want to check out the side mounted laser range finder that I ordered. If they don't have Bluetooth implemented by the time I receive it in 6-8 weeks then it's likely all going back. I can live with other features not working, but if the night vision is not up to par, the external range finder won't work, or it's unreliable due to freezing up then it will need to go back.

I have seen a post from up in the UK (from Europe distributor)saying that the 4K is not yet ready for sale in Europe and that they are waiting for a firmware upgrade before doing so. Not saying it is accurate but just what I have seen. Food for thought maybe.

"Not ready for sale", yes, I would agree or at least sell with the statement that certain features have not been implemented or are incomplete.
I've not yet had a response to the direct email to ATN or from the online form I completed.

Hi Guys, my first post since getting the 4K pro. I have the 5x20. Andrew, My reticle did the same thing as you are describing, initially. I went into the main menu xero section to correct mine. (not from the profiles section on the scope. There is a main menu icon to zero the shots) I used that and it fixed the issue on mine. Also- after adjusting the zero from the main icon, the zeros worked from the profiles section. Not sure it will work the same for you but it corrected mine.

Be interested to see if the firmware release today sorts this out for you guys. Am hearing that some of the stuff is sorted but still some issues to be sorted - let us know how you are getting on.

Installed upgrade yesterday. Briefly tried scope to make sure it would power up, but that's about all for now. The contrast on mine is still out of wack, almost like fog on glass. Noticed that with upgrade, the rear button no longer returns you to the reticle. Tried to "link" my ATN 1000 range finder, no luck. Was able to view video's from the menu! Whoo hoo! Will experiment some more today. It's a shame to have to experiment on a brand new $700 item.
