Hi all, Just a quickie. Have just got my x-sight and all the info tells me to update the firmware which i was just about to do. When i went into settings i noticed that it was showing the firmware v1.8.07.343. This rang a little bell in my brain, i am sure that this is the latest firmware i have seen muted on the net. The point of all this is, i think that the new owner should be directed to the settings of their x-sight to see which firmware the scope has, before they go down the road of down loading one. Am i wrong, or have i a valid point. Regards bestie

Mine came with the latest, but being an IT guy I wanted to see how the update process worked. I pulled down the FW and copied it to an SD card. The update started and got hung at 20% while setting up wireless. I let it sit like that for about 15 minutes with no change. I killed power to my scope (Do not do this, you can brick a device) and when it rebooted the update process continued as normal. No problems.

X sight 5 18,firmware 343. WiFi keeps stopping. Is there a fix. Make sure your sleep timer is set to off. The wifi does not run in the background when it's asleep.

formika: If you attempted to install firmware for the wrong device and your X-Sight does not work, it is likely bricked. Contact ATN for a replacement.

Any news on the new firmware update for the X Sight I? Not at this moment in time. It will come, and will probably contain many of the features found in the X2 so will be well worth the waiting
