I bought my scope at the beginning of the month. Firmware is updated and good to go.
I am using a 7800mah external battery pack to power the scope. I have tested this pack indoors and had the scope powered on for 9 straight hours with NO drain to the battery pack!
Took it out yesterday to zero it in, do some shooing and hunt coyotes last night. The temp during the day was around 24 degrees.
Zeroing in was pretty easy and the scope worked fine.....until the sun went down.
When it got dark, the temp dropped to around 4 degrees. Sitting in the blind, scanning the field, the scope looked to be working great. Then it just shut down. I thought I may have had it in sleep mode but it would not power back on. I unplugged the battery pack and plugged it back in. The scope would power up to the ATN logo and then shut off again.
I had a spare battery pack inside my coat to keep warm and I even tried swapping out the pack but the scope did the same thing.
After I got home, I got the rifle out and the scope powered up just fine.
It seems that the scope internals didn't like the cold temps but I have spoken to others who have used their ATN scope in -5 temps with no problems!
Any one else have this issue?

Nope. Just got ATN xII 3-14 last week. Worked fine in temps +5 during ice storm. Perhaps a double check that the external batt packs were charged, or hard re-boot may help with a firmware issue. Beats me.
