Hi guys, I have just purchased a 384 thermal. It all seems to be working fine except my batteries are only lasting 5 mins before they drain. It has the latest firmware and I’m using good quality lithium batteries. Has any body else experienced this.

Make sure you have the GPS, WiFi, and Bluetooth turned off. Only use them when needed as they drain batteries quickly if left on.

Yep all that done, still only getting minutes of time before power running out. What’s everybody else getting out of their batteries

I use the Kentli batteries, and set the power saving to 1 minute. I've also got an external battery pack that I often use. And, I also keep a pack of Energizer Ultimate Lithium handy. Just in case... Just forget about using anything less than the Energizer Ultimate Lithium. No alkaline batteries will be worth the trouble.

Yep, I also use the Energizer Lithiums as well. And I use the external power pack with it.

Mossy, is the unit getting extra warm to the touch? That many lithium batteries, discharging that quickly will liberate some heat.
