when I switch on my X Sight it switches on ok and then freezes within a minute, sometimes with the red ATN logo showing or just after with the reticle showing. Has anyone had a similar problem with their sight.
i am using fully charged Kentli batteries. I have not used the sight for about 6 weeks.
any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I havnt had that issue but I would pull and reformat the sd card. Re download the software, rename the file xsight.bin and reinstall it. Sounds like you may have corrupt firmware issues. That will make it reload the software thinking its an update. After its all done you have to remove the sd card and delete the firmware file. Otherwise every time you turn it on it will think its an update again. Then after it completely boots up and appears that it will work. do the factory reset in the scope that should get rid of all unwanted extra files.

File name should be changed to
Xsight2.bin
*** use EXTREME CAUTION when downloading and renaming files. It is VERY POSSIBLE to download the fw file for a different optic and load it onto yours. This will brick your scope and you'll need to return it to ATN for service. ***
