OK, I'll confess to being dense at times but there has to be some easy step I'm not doing here. First off... yes the X-sight HD scope has plenty of battery power, it only has one short video file in it's library, it's got a strong wifi connection. I have the app on my tablet & it when I touch the 'xsight2' area it shows the system menu of my scope with all my settings. But I do not find any way to view what the scope is seeing. The media library shows the one video file that is on my scope so obviously the tablet is connecting to my scope.
Why can't I select the App to show what the scope is seeing instead of only the system menu?
I'm going hunting over Labor Day holiday & really want my friend to see how my scope works. Help.

Some older android tablets and phones can download the app, and thats it. Does not work. Newer type phones do work great.

My tablet is new but I did find out what was the issue.... When I have the tablet held vertical (portrait like) the little white 'arrow heads' to swipe across to select other icons didn't show up. When the tablet is held horizontal (landscape like) they do become visible. If I sweep my finger across the touch screen when the arrows are not visible nothing happens, it does work fine when they are visible. Now that I know this I shouldn't have any more problems.

My buddy and I bought the X2 at the same time. His wouldn't show the viewfinder in the app and mine would. Turns out his firmware update didn't take so he plugged in my micro SD card and updated his scope again and bingo, it worked on his Samsung S7. I noticed that on my iPad mini2, I have to wait until the image loads before I rotate the iPad or it just gets stuck.

Mine works great on my iPad but it liked the version of Obsidian that had the ATN logo on it and not the other blue Obsidian 4.
