Ive ben looking for a section to post this in. There needs to be a place where our feedback can lead to better function and features. Like real time range finder when ballistic calculator is on or even if its not. why have to click move and click again to get a range. Next model out should have real time range finder capabilities. Any thoughts guys.

It's already available if you have one of the ATN laser range finders. It will set the range within seconds. I can't see ATN cutting a marketing entry to add it to a scope. Pony up and get one, they work great.
If you know the range, enter the range. The auto range procedure is when you don't know the range but know the approximate height of the target--Click at the top then click on the bottom. The range is calculated.

I agree with dougman. I wish the laser range finder was built into the X Sight. Since it's not, I ordered one that should arrive this week. On the other hand, this separate one can be used on other scopes with the app on the phone to get scope settings. There should also be an option for a stronger IR light. Why waste money on the little one when we have to upgrade that light to a more powerful version?

I think it would be great to be able to synchronize the profiles from the LRF Ballistics app and the profiles from Obsidian Core app. Or at least export/import between the two apps.

The Ballistics App is for glass scopes and doesn't interface with the digital scopes. The Obsidian App is for the digital scopes. I see no advantage in mixing the ballistics--It's two different systems.

If your just shooting targets ok fine the Bluetooth rangefinder will be great. Or if your game is 500 yards away and you have good cover. When your hunting game like deer or coyote then the more you move the larger the chance you'll get busted and loose your game. The range finder is already built into the scope. It wouldn't be a large stretch to make it real time automatic. For me it would be great. I'm only shooting crossbow and a 30-30 right now so I can set my range at 150 and be 1.4 or so inches high at 100 and 2.6 or so low at 200. Or was it 1.8 and 4.2 lol have to write these down. No range finder really needed. O ya is the blue tooth range finder night vision capable? Have to check on that too. I will set it up on my SK soon as well.

And I see the range finder is not night vision either.

Here’s my wishlist:
on the XSightII Scope (and the Binox too )give the “on/off” button the same multiple functions the way the remote unit is programmed: when in a menu shortly depress the “on/off” button and it immediately exits all the menu layers (and you are back to the normal shooting screen), and
When in the normal screen a short press of the “on/off” button toggles between nominal (optical) zoom and max zoom. (Or make it into 3 steps: nominal-max-extended zoom, when you have the extended option on)
Also: minimize the steps of the zoom buttons, e.g. only zoom whole numbers per button press (5x-6x-7x-8x etc. Intead of all the weird (i.e. non logical, as they are not ending on .0 or .5) decimal steps in between
And:
Have a true BLACK “color” option for the reticles and have a reticle with real mildot (either dots or lines) hashmarks in both the elevation and the windage plane.
And lastly: the ability to make edit and store profiles in the app and then Upload them into the scope. (Handy if you have more then one Scope)
