Doing the adjustments for the "Current" rifle & ammo I understand. It says it can create up to 6 Profiles, I want to use this scope on 3-4 different guns/ammo set-ups.
The PDF Manual mentions this capacity but no details as to how to do it. Any help would be greatly appreciated as usual. (With no keyboard how can those different Profiles be labeled and defined?)

You can edit the descriptions using a text editor like Notepad. I understand, but haven't tried it, you can edit the descriptions through the Obsidian App also. That method would be safer since the Profiles are stored on the SD in XML format.

It’s easiest to copy and then edit in Obsidian via WiFi or BT.
I tried it the other way and it’s a pain.

I am having trouble figuring out how to make a profile, I with atn or somebody would make a video on it for x sight 4 k pro, for people like me.

A tablet or phone would be easier.
I have mine on a single rifle but multiple ammo profiles.
That was if I run low on one Ammo I can move to another.
I duplicated a few then just start a new one by changing the name and data on a duplicated one.
Then you have to go out and zero each one.
In my case the differences are not that far off. A few inches here and there but at longer ranges it matters.

That’s 5he easiest for me. The editor can work if you understand how to do that. Manually works as well but it can be tetious. Wifi is the way to go. I love my tablet. I can review vids in the field as well as download or even stream to view what’s out there. I did however ever find out it won’t stream to my tablet if RAV is activated. |
