Just a FYI... I decided to add a low profile 45 degree rail mount to my AR15. I made a SS sheet metal piece attached to an old scope-ring to hold an 80,000 mAh battery for when I'm at the gun range. The mount location also works for my small (light-weight) battery for mobile use. The small ones slide tightly into an old scope ring so I change out quickly when needed in the field (not a new idea). The big "80,000 mAh" battery is from China so even if it really is half the claimed power it is plenty for my range time. For what it's worth it also has a solar panel side. Anyway, thought I'd post this option.

That's a brilliant idea with the sheet metal. I like the solar panels facing out to help with charging. Good job. Slick small mount external too. May have been done before but I've never seen either. Thank you.

Thanks, they switch out easier than attaching with ties or Velcro straps.
