I had a chance to fully test out the LRF 1500 this weekend on some Ground Squirrels in SE Oregon. I can't begin to tell you how awesome this function is! Laser range find your target, drop said target and then immediately range another and drop the hammer once again. I did find that sometime two to four presses of the rangefinder was needed to change the distance but that's easy and quick. If you hunt, I'd get one for sure! I can't wait to use it with my .338 Lapua for 500-1000+ yard shots using the phone app!

Some additional things I have noticed when on stand. After several hours of mt scope being on I have the laser stop communicating with the scope? I have to actually turn my scope off and turn it back on. Not good when my shot could be at any moment. I had to do this several times last night. It is almost like there is a timeout function if the laser isn't activated regularly? If there is they need to delete that function on the next firmware update.

The LRF turns off with no activity. I've noticed that if you turn off Bluetooth, wait a few seconds then turn BT back on the scope will re-pair with the LRF on a click or two. This is a bad design or bug but it beats shutting down the scope. Make sure it's not the scope locking up due to low power. That's a different problem.

I figured it was a default for power consumption on the LRF. However, I'd rather have it stay paired and not have to fiddle with it while hunting. Hopefully a bug fix will b able to help this!?
