I've got a tech question I hope can be answered...
I guess the micro HDMI connection port is to connect a monitor screen that has an HDMI input port for additional viewing. (saw a video where a laptop was used but most always HDMI ports on laptops are output only, not clear on how it was done) Is that it's only function or can the recorded video files stored on the memory card be downloaded some how using it? I guess I'm looking for an other way to retrieve the recorded files other than removing the memory card from the ATN Xii 3-14x scope every time. On a different issue, I just downloaded the app to my android phone & connected with the scope. I get a screen that has 3 options "Smart HD Channel", My Medial Library" & "XSIGHT2"... I open XSIGHT2 & see the menu selections I've made on the scope. But, I can't find a way to see what the scope sees. It is connected, Am I missing something here?
Any help would be appreciated greatly.

To see the live image, scroll the menu to the View icon and tap on it.

"...scroll the menu to the View icon and tap on it." Are you talking about a menu on my cell phone app or on the scope's menu? What does the "view icon" look like?

It's in the App. I think it looks like the CBS eye. (I forget.)

The scope's WIFI signal (xsight-2360) shows up as a secured source on my laptop. When trying to log-in the laptop asks for a "network security key" not a password... I entered in atn-obsidian but that doesn't work... "the network security key isn't correct"
OK, I now notice it should be atn_obsidian.... yes, it now accepts the password but still no way to see an image from the scope. To download the app the laptop is not recognized as a 'mobile device' so what is needed for the laptop to work? Any solution?

Hi:
I read about someone who uses a portable hdmi monitor to hook up to the scope, I'm going to try that, could even use that out in the field.

Hi: I read about someone who uses a portable hdmi monitor to hook up to the scope, I'm going to try that, could even use that out in the field. I use one for night shooting small vermin from a seat. The weapon, sight, monitor, and IR are all mounted on a heavy tripod. (I'm disabled so stalking is out) It's a very clear picture and in some ways is too easy to pick off the pesky critters. I'll post a few pictures of my 'rig' shortly.

Hi wobblybootie:
I will be looking forward to seeing your rig setup. I just received my 7'' hdmi portable monitor but haven't had a chance to use it yet. Thanks for posting.
