Just spent $4,000 on the 640, DL the update and now it is bricked.
Here is what I have tried
1. After the update the unit went blank screen.
2. Tried to power up using power button- no response
3. Removed batteries, reinstalled and tried to power up- no response
4. removed batteries, waited ten minutes, reinstalled and unit powered up to ATN screen followed by "Configuring WIFI", unit then went to blank screen
5. Unit is now unresponsive and have tried the steps above to no avail.
Any suggestions? Not impressed thus far.

Same problem firmware 747 except I'm stuck in a continuous loop of "configuring device " & "configuring wifi" and can only be turned off by removing batteries. Two day old gift that is unusable now. Not too happy.

Those sound like the typical battery issues. What batteries are you using? Use nothing less than Li-ion batteries as suggested in the User Manual. Standard or Alkaline AA batteries can't provide the current necessary for very long and the voltage drops too fast.

Using Kelli's, didn't have a problem prior to 747 firmware update.

Hello my friend i have a thor hd 640 and the screen went blank and the scope don’t run .i have slthe same problem if you fixed you problem help me to fixed mine because my atn doesn’t work
