A regular black bulls-eye shows up quite well. Especially if the sun shines on it a bit.

Gumbo,
Place a nail in tree you don't like ;o) hit it with a micro torch for 10 seconds. Take aim and see where your shot lands digitally adjust and fine tune as needed. Maybe 5 shots needed max!

The hand warmer worked the best. Could see it in daylight at 100 yards.

Insert a smoldering cigarette into the bullet-hole on the target I quit. I wonder if A.B.C. Nicorette gum would work.

Once zero'd in try placing a few cups of cracked corn that has sat in water for a week. Then dump it in an area that is safe to shoot at and add one more cup of fresh cracked corn on top of those two cups! Let stand for a few weeks! Start therming the area early evenings and mornings for activity. This setup will bring in live targets for you instead of wasting lead on paper punching.

I found that a 6 x 6 inch piece of Aluminum foil back taped (double sided or reverse looped tape on back of foil)stays black against a cardboard background. Depending on your ThoR HD Thermal Scope magnification one might want to use a 12 inch by 12 inch piece of foil at 100 yds and greater too get good definition.
