I know this is not perhaps the forum to ask this question, but I like this forum more than most others. If I cant get any answer's, I guess I can always go elsewhere... LOL Has anybody done a Gun Trust that perhaps could answer a few question? I'm thinking about getting one to get the process of the Gun Tax going to purchase a suppressor. Questions: 1. Is the trust the best way to go before filing your Form 4's with the ATF? 2. What guns should go on the trust? I have 3 guns registered in my name, but, if I had a gun not in my name should it go on it also? 3. Can you have the trust drawn up in a different state other than the one you live in? I work in ND 4 weeks on and am only at home in UT for 1 week. 4. I've seen some starting at $50 to be emailed to you and then others up to $200 from a lawyer. Any advice on where/who to get on from? 5. If you were denied for your concealed weapons permit will they deny you for the Gun Tax?

If that passes you won't need the ticket from ATF.

True that. It is semi stalled. Everybody should give their congressman a call and ask why.

If I'm reading your first post correctly, you do not list guns on your Trust unless they are NFA guns. The Trust is generally for NFA Items, at least that's how I use mine. I have two trusts, one for Form1 Builds and the other for Form4 Transfers. You do not need to have two like me but I do it for simplicity reasons; my Form4 trust came first and the trust name is too long to engrave on Form1 builds.
So in short, if you are asking about a trust for silencers, you do not need to list your guns. Hope that helps
