I bought the ATN battery with the stock pack, but my stock is collapslable, and doesn't let me load a round. I currently have just the battery velcro'd topside of my barrel. Is there another case that will work with my set up? Or did y'all place your battery somewhere else

I also have this issue. I would like to find a better way to carry a 20000 mAh battery.

That the ATN branded external battery pouch doesn't fit perfectly on collapsible stocks is a common theme here. Mostly it's that the charging handle is not fully operable with the pouch strapped on...No doubt it was designed with a solid stock in mind. There are pouches out there that work on collapsible stocks and somewhere in the forum is a post with one or two suggestions that work. That being said, if you don't have a pouch, affixing any external battery to the rifle (or to the device) is pretty easy. A little ingenuity, some Velcro, or zip ties, an appropriate length cable and you're in business. I have mine strapped to the XS2 sunshade with Velcro, and it only moves slightly under the recoil of my LR308. Really, any place on the rifle you can put a strip of Velcro, or a rail mount fashioned to fit your specific ext battery will work. Just decide where you want it and you'll figure out a way to mount it 🙂 Tom

I made up an alloy plate to fit the picatinny forward mount position on my rig, a couple of pieces of 3M dual lock velcro and its tidy as well as been able to remove the battery with ease.

You might want to try the BLACKHAWK! M-4 Collapsible Stock Mag Pouch which can be found on eBay or Midway USA. I had a problem with my AR (with fixed A2 style stock) and the fixed stock model of this pouch eliminated the problem with charging handle function. With the pouch in the 30 round magazine configuration, it holds my 20000 mAh external battery with no interference with the charging handle.
