So after my last range trip I noticed the objective bell housing on my XS2 3-14 was slightly loose where it connects to the main body, and I damn near had a fit!
I was imagining the whole damn thing falling to pieces the next time I fired it, or worse yet, having to send it back for repairs!! Now the movement was only about 1/16", and it did not impact the view, but it still needed to be corrected.
So I called ATN CS, and after a grand total of 2 min 25 sec (yes I was timing it) on hold, I got through to Nick. I explained the problem, and after he looked up the symptoms, he was back with a solution. Seems there are two hex head screws under the device body near the front, and he suggested I use a 1.3mm hex key to tighten them down as they may have come loose. He said if that didn't fix it I'd have to send it in for repair, and that's 6-8 weeks. Uggggghhhh
I thanked him, went to the shop to hunt up the right size hex key, and voila! I was able to find that one screw had come loose. A little less than a third of a turn later and the bell housing was back secure.
I know that ATNs CS is pretty sucky for the most part, but it's nice to know that they have guys like Nick who know what they're doing and do their best to help.
Thanks Nick!

Awesome stuff Tom. Seems that if you can actually get to a point of contact that the staff really do give a *****, difficulty sometimes is getting to that point I think. Could it be that they are listening to what is been said and moving on it?

Odin, We can only hope that what's being said here is being heard on the left coast.
