What is the process to down grade xsight1 firmware?

Do you mean load a prior version of the firmware onto your Xsight? If so, perhaps another member has that version saved off to a card or computer and will send it to you.

I have the 343.bin but when I put it in it wont downgrade. No option to do so. I was wondering the same thing. The 352. bin for x1 is out of control.

ATN XSIGHT FIRMWARE ROLLBACK
Ive been searching if you could and how to do it. It is possible I just did it to my xsight1 from 352.bin back to 228.bin There is a repository ( www.phillips321.co.uk/downloa…/atn-x-sight/firmware/ ) that has all of the old firmware stored and easy to download what ever one you want. 1)download the version you wish and Save it 2) rename the file to xsight.bin 3) put it on a formatted sd card. 4) put it in your scope and it will say firmware update? Of course select yes or in this case the O and hit enter. 5) remove the sd card after update and erase the xsight.bin because after the update and it reboots it will ask you to update firmware that you already did. select no to the second update and then shut down the device. Pull the sd card and erase the xisght.bin and then put the sd card back in. Worked perfect for my x1 and I run and older version of the app that is also available online so I should have live view back too. ( android4samsung.com/Download-Android_ATN-Obsidian_fo… )
I have to find an old phone to test it on. LOL You can Hack the xsight after all. Your not stuck with an update that isnt working for you!!!!!

Ok my x1 with 343.bin works with the recent 2.16 obsidian app version. Live view and gallery download. I didnt test every button in the app but it didnt crash and does what i want it to do.

I tested everything on my x1 ROOLBACK with 343.bin firmware and obsidian app 2.16 and it all works fine. The 2.16 is the available app vesion on google play at this time. No crashes. All buttons and settings work. Live feed both viewfinder and zero set up work. When I back out to exit the app it says obsidian has stopped working but I am exiting so there is no consiquence in that happening. Yay my x1 is fully functional app and scope!!!!!
