Anyone know how to get the compass set to recalibrate? I set mine originally where there must have been some sort of interference, as it's off by quite a bit. I'd like to get it recalibrated in an outside environment, but can't figure out how to start.

When you turn your scope on you'll notice at the top of your screen "CAL" signifying you need to calibrate your compass. Do this with batteries inside your scope not external. When you see the "CAL" rotate your scope end over end about three times then spin it on the level about three times and this should take care of it for you. You don't need to be outside to do this I prefer by the fire and a beer in hand ;o)

Doc, I already did the initial calibrate when I got it. Afterwards is when I noticed that it is off by quite a bit. I was asking about how to redo it and make it say CAL to start the process gain.

You can probably instigate a re-calibration event by putting the scope near a magnet or electrical field. That is what the manual gives as a cause for re-calibration. Do you have gps on or off?

GPS off. Less battery drain that way.
