Do any of you find having to adjust the focus on the X-sight II 5-20 awkward when shooting offhand? My rig is a little front heavy since I am shooting suppressed, and this doesn't help at all. What have you done or plan on doing to help with this - maybe get some shooting sticks?

You could put a zip tie snugly around the focus knob and turn (push/pull) the knob with it. Just a thought.

tomvb, I can turn the knob fine, but I do like your idea. In fact, I will probably do that with the "zip tie knot" right where the "C" is at so I can feel where it's at in the dark. My main concern is the weight forward of the grip on an AR platform. For example, if I am trying to zoom/focus while shooting offhand (stalking), in order for me to hold the rifle by the grip, I have to come off target due to the scope/IR/suppressor weight being in front of the grip, the front of the rifle has to almost be pointed down to the ground for me to make adjustments. This causes me to make a lot of movement. I don't want to, but I may just have to get some shooting sticks to support the front of the rifle while zooming/focusing. Any other suggestions?
