Hi All Have finally got my hands on a Ruger 10/22 bullpup kit, with the view of getting a vet mate back into shooting. He is a lower left arm amputee and has so much elbow damage that he cannot hold a standard rifle up with his left arm. So we have come up with a theory that with a bullpup having the bulk of the weight between the trigger and the stock that it should work for him. Have started this with a .22 to basically eliminate recoil as a starting point.  |

 Trigger extension bar calibrated and in place. Had to notch a segment of the stock to allow for rivet on end of the receiver. On the whole it looks like a well thought out and put together kit. |

hehe - I have texted him a pic and he has just phoned to say he reckons he could shoot it. Told him I have done the build just to take him shooting - he got all teary - was quite moving and has made the time and effort worth the while. So much for the big macho SF exterior - he is just a big softie under it all.  |
