Welcome and thanks for purchasing your new X-Sight II HD.
The following is just a quick start guide to get you on your way to using this scope.
This is still a work in progress and we will be adding more information as we get it processed.
The admin team as a whole have managed to get this together, no one person is responsible for it in its entirety.
After you have unboxed the unit do an initial inspection of it and familiarize yourself with the buttons and covers now its time to get your new scope up and running.
Battery brand names are just for reference and we you make an informed decision as to which ones you buy.
I use energizer lithium's and Kentli rechargeable AA batteries available from ebay or amazon to mention a few.
Insert your batteries negative side out on the bottom and positive side out on the top. *Always look at the marking on the top edge of the battery compartment prior to installation as there is a slight possibility of a production change*
Screw the battery cap back on until tight, you will know it is tight when the red oring is barely visable when looking at the cap thread area.
Push the power button and release after a count of 2, the scope will power up at this point and you will see the red ATN splash screen.
After the scope has done its self check you will have the reticle in the screen.
Pushing the enter button (center button) will bring up the setting and preferences menu so that you can customize the scope to your needs.
Left arrow at this point will highlight a wrench icon, this is where you will make 90% of the scope settings from zeroing to time settings etc.
HOW TO ZERO THE X-SIGHT 2
Ensure you have a quality set of aa batteries installed or an external battery pack attached to the sight
Power on the sight
Navigate to the settings icon(wrench) push enter
Navigate to the profiles/zero section push enter
Select the current profile push enter
Select zero push enter
You will see your reticle in the color and pattern you chose you will also see a smaller cross hair this will be used to keep on the center of your target while moving the reticle to the poi of the bullet
Once you have moved the reticle to the poi of the bullet on your target push select you will notice a sub menu appear with options zoom, save and exit, discard changes and back once you are satisfied with your reticle position you can select save and exit to confirm your one shot zero
Once you save and exit you can return to the main display where you can confirm your one shot zero if needed you can repeat steps going back into the zero setup.
In base zoom the reticle will be adjusted in increments of 4’s to achieve fine tuning where reticle adjustments are by one’s while in the zero setup where the reticle and center cross hair is displayed push enter and select sub menu zoom this will allow you to increase your magnification while maintaining the zero set up
Once the zoom level is chosen push the enter button this will go back to the zero reticle and fine tuning of the zero can be done.
Once again after you are satisfied with the poi and zero process push enter and select sub menu save and exit. Before doing so it is recommended to make note of your x/y coordinates for future reference or in case you need to conduct a factory reset
If for any reason you are not happy with your x/y readings you can push enter and sub menu discard changes and this will not save the current reticle position. To start from an x/y of 0/0 for a different type of ammunition or rifle manually move the reticle to a position of 0/0 and select enter and then sub menu of save and exit.
There is a setting for different firearms and or ammunition under the profiles section to be explained in a different topic this topic is for ONE SHOT ZERO OF YOUR NEW ATN X-SIGHT 2 HD SIGHT.
