Got my x-sight back off a friend and it won't turn off . The only way to turn the power off is undoing the battery cap, when it is on you can't do anything with it, the optics are all illuminated but none of the keys work on the top. Any advice?. It is the x-sight 5-18x, the first 1

Factory restore, Format your card on the computer (full Fat32) to get rid of any bad sectors. Format card in scope, then download latest firmware - make sure it is the correct one for the scope. Turn on scope and do update. Restart scope. Reformat card in scope Make sure you have the correct scope selected in the settings menu. Let us know how you get on.
