Which X-Sight 4K Pro Firmware version do you think is best??
Where does one find a firmware update history to see all the changes?
To load any Firmware version to your X-sight 4K Pro. Select the Firmware .bin file new or old you want installed. Rename your .bin file to xsight4k.bin and follow Firmware update instructions. (Scope off, inserts SD card with .bin file in root directory, I also put .bin file in the ATN folder too, turn scope on say yes to update) Presto you can undo any firmware that is giving you problems. or experiment to see which is best for you.
HOWEVER!!!! Where do you find old versions of Firmware .bin files database for previous versions of firmware? And where does one find the update history to see the changes? Thanks so much!!!!

I don't have the history of various changes, but in my signature, you can find a link to the folder where I've collected several versions.
Happy searching!
In my opinion, one of the best versions was before the introduction of the Radar feature.
And if I remember correctly, it was: xsight4k_3_1_11_483

Thanks so much Odino, you are the best!!!!
If you can find info on what each update does that would be great!
BTW I just got my second x-sight 4K pro and it shipped with .511 but that is not available on their website.
I see a noticeable difference between the new and old scope: The new one shipped with firmware .511 - it does not get as sharp as my original in bright light. Then Not on the night vision, but regular in low light conditions my old one works much better than the new one. So in low light everything pixelates that's normal, but the new one is noticeably worse with obvious horizontal disturbances. I installed the .510 over the .511 and there is no difference. but now I do not have a .511 firmware to go back if I want. Now that I have all the firmwares I will play around. My original scope still has .451 installed. I was afraid to update it since I have not really run in to many problems that affect me yet. I am thinking perhaps the internal display or sensor is not of the same quality as my old one. Something seems different. Have you any info on various serial numbers having different parts. I know on LED TV's same models made at different times of year sometimes have different panels from different suppliers which affects quality. You know ATN should have a database of all the firmawares for the public as many other electronics companies do. Because I do not need Radar things and if the scope works better without it I should be able to have the firmware that suits my purposes best.
Questions: I read the new Gen 5 has lead to calculate holdover on a moving target. You think ATN will add that to the 4K pro? What's your opinion on the Gen 5. Do you think it works better or has any advantages over the 4K pro?
No Problem your English is fine. I am Italian as well, parents born in Italy, I was born in NYC. I can speak a bit of proper Italian to get by but can't write it. Ciao for now.

Perhaps if you write to ATN, they may be able to assist you in obtaining the various change logs for all the released firmware versions. In any case, you could also find version 511 by poking around in my folders.

I have your contact list at ATN. Who do you think will be most responsive to supply me with the firmware release notes? thanks
BTW I can only find 511 as an elf file. and while I was able to install 511 elf file using the software on a PC, I tried renaming it to a bin and to install via SD card, but that failed. I cannot find 511 as a bin file which is easier to install. Does it exist? My theory is - Lets say i am in the field if scope craps out perhaps with SD cards i can restore it to work. Thanks
