Check if the "Light Sensitivity" voice under "Night Vision" menu is correctly set on LOW.

G'day nightfox, What brand IR illuminator are you using? I have a 4K Pro in 3-14 also. I use the 850 Dark Engine Blade: www.nightvisionstore.co.uk/black-sun-dark-engine-blade-ir-illuminator-c2x40038869I've also used other variations of the Dark Engine illuminators from England. All are much better than the ATN illuminator. These illuminators incorporate VCSEL laser diodes. VCSELs are semiconductor lasers, more specifically laser diodes which emit light. I've tried Sniper Hog illuminators but they're bigger and not as bright. Certainly, when you try to shoot at very long ranges and at high magnification the image becomes somewhat 'furry' through the 4K Pro. Even so I'm hitting foxes and hares at night at ranges around 170 yards using my 4K Pro with 850 Dark Engine Blade on an Anschuetz rifle in .222 Rem. The longest shot so far was a week ago at 279 yards. I shot a hare that was facing away from me in the backside. The image was not sharp, but still clear enough for me to centre the cross hairs of the rifle on the hare's tail.
