Bought my x-sight 4k pro from Amazon few days ago. Bought SD card and downloaded the current firmware from website 3.1.12.510. I put SD into riflescope then turned on the scope. It recognized the SD as I see it on the top right as icon. No firmware update popped up. I check the current firmware on the scope and its 3.1.12.511 it appears to be more advanced than the one on the site. What the heck! Reading the thread on the x-sight 4k/ buckmark under firmware someone had same issue. The last thread says to trick the scope by changing the file name to "512" so that it updates and installs the "510". Before I do this just wondering if this is ok to do or should I just stay with the "511" ?? Is there issues with the 511, why is there a 511 but the ATN webiste says 510??? PLEASE HELP

Don't change the firmware to 510, it's also nonsense to do that and why would you want to install an older firmware over a newer one, don't quite understand that. ATN's scopes have a few flaws here and there, but the 511 is the newest at the moment. My 4K runs very well with the 511 occasionally the compass hangs. Then I move the scope in all directions for a while and then it's over.....
By the way, ATN is also not that fast with its firmware updates, 511 has been around for a while, then I think update that website of yours, but no. I had also read on a forum that someone already had an update of 512, or they wrote it wrong, that is also possible.
