No yardage indicator shows up on power up, or during use unless I first define it (or start the rangefinder function and cancel - then it'll show whatever the last range I had set).
Thus, when I have to move quick to pop a bobcat/coyote getting near my coop, I have to waste precious seconds fumbling to get to the previously defined yardage, set the yardage again, or just shoot and hope for the best. Usually, with as close as these are to my house when I get to my porch, the last option is really the only one.
So, my question is this - is there a way to have the yardage ALWAYS show on the display?

On my x sight 4k last measured yardage always shows if bc on. Meantime internal rangefinder is a trash.
