Hi all, As I have been reading online, manuals, etc.. there seems to be varying info on the environment settings, Temp, Barometer, Humidity, Elevation. One forum post says there are sensors that sense and display accordingly, others that say manual input? Whats the deal does anyone know? This is an electronic/pc/digital scope with sensors. What is the point of havibg to input this info manually when the scope has sensors? Clear as mud. With todays simple tech Im not getting the whole manual thing... All these years of building scopes... do any these manufacturers think Im going to go up to a deer and ask it to stand around while I run back to the deer stand 250 yards away and fiddle with knobs, and manual input settings? This just amazes me. Sorry to say, temp, elevation, etc is pointless if you cant use it when you need it.

Environmental data could be set manually just arrived at hunting field, wind, yes changing. From ATN a compatible meteo device require, Bluetooth may be, scope has 2 Bluetooth channels. As seen posts from users internal sensors still non reliable, looks like therefore atn stop support sensors with newest update files, and possibly no more accompanying units with such sensors.

I was wondering the same thing. In the Obsidian 4 app, there is a sync feature and an auto sync slider. However, this changes absolutely nothing in the scope. Strange thing is, I have noticed elevation changes in the app from place to place. So I guess a few questions… 1. What is updating this info? Are there sensors in the scope that are changing these values within the app? If so… 2. Why don’t they change the values within the scope, itself? 3. What is it supposed to auto sync to? Thanks in advance for any insight into this mystery.

I do it the simple way, learn the amo ballestic and hold, if 6.5×55 / 223 or simular the poi will be a good hit on a big deer even if you not hold over if zero in at 100yards, bullet drop will be only a few cm up to 9-10cm, i think the shooter is the biggest factor at 250yards.
Hope you not misunderstand me, personaly i think most night vision scopes has to many funtions. Agein, sorry for my bad english.
