The BinoX HD is advertised as having image stabilization. Apparently that's false and it has no such thing. Is that right? Hoping I just missed how to turn it on. Also, the firmware version is concerning: 2.2.06.738 -- available at www.atncorp.com/firmware2.2.07.781 -- my device I considered updating firmware to see if that provides a stabilization option, but I hesitate to update to a lower version firmware! Appreciate any help. Thanks.

There is no mention of image stabilization anywhere in the manual. That's either wrong info, or high hopes for the future. The Binox 4K doesn't have image stabilization either, and IMO both models need it!

Indeed. I know the model is discontinued, but it seems they claimed the "image stabilization" feature from the beginning. The company should have either clarified what they meant, in case it actually has something that can be called "image stabilization", or not made the false claim. Here's the old product page (now apparently unlinked from their site, understandably), where it clearly claims the feature: www.atncorp.com/atn-bino-x-hd-4x-superAnd here's one of many old reviews that talks about it: www.birdingwire.com/releases/4d9c0a31-17cf-4c7f-8ee3-4ac657074b4c/From that article:
