I purchased a refurbished ABL 1000, out of the box it would not pair with my scope. I found that its Bluetooth ID is "ABL_02" instead of "ABL_01". I contacted customer support and after a week received an email from Ken Noblitt an account manager. Eventually, he sent me a brand new replacement. The new ABL 1000 does the exact same thing.
Now Mr. Noblitt does not respond to emails. Does anybody know how to get the ABL to pair with my XSight 4k or how to get customer support from ATN?
Thanks

I had a similar incident with ATN and the refurbished ABL 1500 I purchased. It was dead on arrival! I'm not as far along in the process as you, because I was just finally able to get someone to call me yesterday. E-mails didn't work, nor did phone calls because no one answers, you just get put on hold and listen to the same recording over and over again until your mind goes numb. I was finally able to get some action by sending a message through their FaceBook page. Seems they do monitor that. It doesn't help anyone who doesn't have a Facebook account, but if you do, you may want to try that route, it was the only way I was able to get a response!
They are supposed to be sending me a brand new one to replace it. I just hope it works...
I did watch a video on pairing it and it seemed to differ from what the manual said to do. The video says to go into setting, then wifi/bluetooth, then ABL and choose pair. The Bluetooth symbol in the upper righthand corner of your screen should have a wide line circling the symbol. Then turn on the ABL and just press and release the Bluetooth button on the side of the ABL. Since mine was DOA, I never saw a Bluetooth ID, so don't know what do do about that.

Here is what worked for me. Power on scope and ABL (doesn't matter what order). Open settings and go to wifi/Bluetooth. Scroll down to ABL and select it and then select pair. (The Bluetooth icon in the top right will start spinning. Now press the Bluetooth button once on the ABL device. When paired you will see the Bluetooth icon with a solid circle around it. The ABL line in settings will also say "paired". If it was refurbished or other difficulty. Long press the Bluetooth button on the ABL for 10 seconds and start from the beginning of these steps again. Also, the Bluetooth button takes more pressure to select than you would think. There is an audible click noise once fully depressed.
Hope that helps.

I find if the ABL has failed to pair the ABL sometimes requires resetting. Try pressing the BT button for >20s and then try pairing again.
